Colonel Forbin stared up at the mountain.
The portal behind him already fading back into ordinary rock. He didn't know yet what Gamehenge would ask of him, or what it would cost him to find out. But he knew this much: a man doesn't walk through a door like that and come out the other side unchanged — or empty-handed.
Along the way, he collected things. A token from Rutherford, worn smooth from years of being carried. A scrap of cloth Tela had once worn. Fragments of a world he loved, gathered not because they were valuable, but because they were proof — proof that the journey had happened, that the mountain was real, that he had been there.
This archive is that same instinct, thirty-some years later.
I've spent three decades following this band the way Forbin followed that path up the mountain — not always knowing where it led, just knowing I had to keep going. Along the way, I collected. Tour shirts from shows I stood in the crowd for. Pieces from the '90s that are now impossible to find. Shirts I've never worn, never will, and never intend to sell — the ones that live in the Museum here — because some things you don't collect to spend, you collect to keep as proof.
This is the "1.0" era — 1983 to 2000/2004 in the band's own timeline, but for me it's really the era when I was climbing my own mountain. Every piece in this archive, for sale or not, is a fragment of that walk.
Some of what I gathered is here to share — pieces I'm ready to pass on to the next person willing to make the climb. Some of it stays with me, on display, the way Forbin's relics stayed with him. Either way, welcome to the archive.
