The Waterwheel Foundation
The Waterwheel Foundation has been the community's answer to a simple question: what do we owe the places that host us?
Founded in 1997, Waterwheel channels resources from the Phish community into local nonprofits in the cities and towns where the band tours, letting people on the ground decide where support is needed most. It's a model built on trust with the band and fans putting real weight behind the idea that a community this large has a responsibility beyond itself.
A portion of what comes through this archive goes back to Waterwheel, in the belief that keeping something alive means investing in it, not just documenting it.
